| Role Of Facility | The Australian Churches of Christ Indigenous Ministries (ACCIM) was formerly called the Churches of Christ Federal Aborigines Mission Board Inc (CCFAMBI), which catered for almost 2000 children in total throughout their years of caring for children at Norseman Mission, Carnarvon Mission (Ingada Village), Fairhaven Hostel, Esperance, Bamburra Hostel, Yokine, and Roelands Village, including Wollaston Hostel in Bunbury.
The CCFAMBI was established as an incorporated body, as part of Churches of Christ in Australia in 1942. Its name was formally changed to the Australian Churches of Christ Indigenous Ministries Inc. in 2009. |
